C.A.C.I.A. SA is located in the village of Cacia, on the northern edge of Aveiro. It is in Portugal's third-largest industrial centre. The plant is located on major motorways, enabling fast transportation to the rest of Europe.
The plant covers an area of 34 ha, of which 7 consists of buildings.
The site’s design is highly operational, guaranteeing an effective, efficient flow of people, products and equipment.

"2008 got off to a good start with the continuation of major projects such as 'Zero liquid discharges'. But the current economic climate has resulted in the suspension of these same projects. We are now facing the new challenge of adjusting environmental factors in relation to the slump in activity."
