The positioning on the exhaust line of an injector that is completely independent of the normal engine injection cycle and dedicated solely to filter regeneration. 

How it works :

• when a sufficient quantity of soot is detected in the filter, a tiny quantity of fuel is injected into the exhaust gases to raise their temperature to more than 570°C,
• the particle filter, placed immediately downstream, uses this additional heat to begin the process of destroying the stored particles.
  

Advantage: unlike other solutions available on the market, the regeneration process no longer depends on vehicle speed, engine speed or journey length.

It works :

• even when the vehicle is stationery or the engine is idling, in traffic jams or in the city, for example;
• on a fully transparent basis in terms of consumption;
• with unchanged acoustics: regeneration is a silent process;
• with no changes to oil change intervals;
• with no particular maintenance: the service life of the filter is equal to that of the car!
