Renault to produce electric vehicle based on Twizy Z.E. Concept in Valladolid, Spain
Renault, which already produces Mégane Hatchback, Mégane Estate, Modus and Grand Modus exclusively in Spain, has chosen to manufacture the future electric vehicle (EV) based on Twizy Z.E. Concept at Valladolid, 150 km north west of Madrid. Compact, nimble and practical, the future zero-emission EV will fully meet all sustainable urban mobility needs.

The Alliance signs intent to manufacture batteries for electric vehicles in France
A letter of intent was signed today in Flins between the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) and the French Strategic Investment Fund (FSI) to set-up a joint venture company that would develop and manufacture batteries for electric vehicles, under the patronage of Christian Estrosi, the French Minister for Industry.

Renault to produce core-range zero-emission vehicle in France at Flins
Renault has decided to produce its future zero-emission electric city car at the Flins plant in the Paris region. Zoé Z.E. Concept, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is a forerunner of this new vehicle.

New Renault Scénic wins the 2009 golden steering wheel, a coveted european award
New Renault Scénic has received the 2009 Golden Steering Wheel award in the MPV category. This prestigious distinction is awarded by the German daily Bild am Sonntag and by the readers of Auto Bild and similar European magazines circulated in 25 countries. Patrick Pélata, Chief Operations Officer of Renault, received this award on November 4th.

Renault-Nissan alliance partners with Barcelona to promote zero-emission mobility
Barcelona, 28 October 2009, The Renault-Nissan Alliance and the city of Barcelona today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the development of zero emission mobility in the Catalan capital. The two organizations will work together to identify areas of co-operations in promoting the use of zero emission vehicles in the city.

Jérôme Olive to be proposed as a Board Director and as Managing Director of Dacia
