Called Renault Safrane, this new model is based directly on Renault Samsung Motors' SM5 sedan. It provides a practical response to the needs of customers in the Gulf States looking for a prestigious and elegant three-volume sedan.

Renault Safrane strengthens Renault's vehicle line-up in the Gulf States, topping the range alongside Mégane hatchback, Mégane sedan, Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet and Clio RS. Equipped with a V6 engine and automatic gearbox, Renault Safrane is manufactured in Renault Samsung Motors Busan plant in South Korea, an 80.1% owned subsidiary of the Renault group.
