Renault has a stand at the VIE fair which is held each November in Paris. The VIE recruiting process is similar to that used for hiring young executives: an interview with a human resources manager followed by an interview with an operations manager. Assignments are made depending on the positions available and take into account the educational background, languages and personal tastes of the candidates.
At the end of their VIE experience, participants, who have become familiar with the company, are logical first priority candidates for hiring. While they often express their desire to prolong their Renault adventure, hiring remains dependent on the group's organizational needs.
