Renault SA is rated by five credit rating agencies (CRAs):

• three International CRAs: Moody's, Standard & Poor’s, Fitch
• two Japanese: R&I et JCR      

In February 2009, following the Group's full year results, Moody's agency downgraded Renault's debt notation to Ba1, stable outlook. In March, Fitch downgraded its notation to BB, outlook negative. In June, Standard & Poor's downgraded its notation to BB, outlook stable.
