GIHEUNG - RSM

RSM is a subsidiary of Renault Group. It is made up of a head office, an engineering centre and a body assembly factory.

Situation 

The site is 40 km south-west of Seoul. It is located in the town of Yongin in the province of Gyeonggi. It lies close to the town of Suwon and near the Singal lake, which has a surface area of  250,000 m2. The site has a surface area of 124,297 m2 and a built area of 32,960 m2 . At the moment, the site is surrounded by fields, but a project to build an urban area is underway.

  
The site entered the Renault group's reporting scope in 2005.

"In 2007, Giheung Renault Samsung Technical Center has introduced the Renault environmental management tools and standards in order to reinforce activity of risk prevention and continual improvement of environmental management.
  

RSTC published the environmental declaration 2006 to communicate the site’s statement and performance to interested external and internal parties."
