Highlights - Testimonial

Yanina Lalloz, Environment Manager:

"The 'Aluminum' platform obtained 'Environmental Aptitude' certification from the Provincial Authority for the Application of Environmental Standards. This certification is valid for two years. The plant is working to obtain the same certification for the “Iron” platform.

In July the plant renewed the Environmental Management System audit by SGS, an accredited ISO 14001 certification organism, confirming our commitment to continuous improvement and progress. In 2009 we made further chemical analyses on ordinary and hazardous industrial waste, on top of analyses of ground water using bore wells and piezometers."
