The site is located in the business zone of Seguin-Rives de Seine. Historically, the Boulogne-Billancourt plant has housed all the activities of the Renault group from 1898 to the present day.
Renault is selling most of the 31.5 ha making up the Trapèze area, as well as the entire Ile Seguin and an area of 4 ha at Meudon, putting in place a wide-ranging programme of demolition and soil remediation.
The extension of selective sorting to all the facilities of Renault’s headquarters continued in 2008 on the Boulogne site. Square Com, the last site to benefit from selective sorting, has been fully equipped in March 2009.
Sorting has cut the cost of processing common industrial waste and allows paper and cardboard to be reused.
