The plant is located in an industrial estate on the east bank of the Medellín River. Ambient temperature ranges from 20°C to 35°C.
Renault-Sofasa’s Environment Statement was published for the first time in 2007 and forwarded to the environmental authorities and to all the site’s employees and stakeholders.
Renault-Sofasa as part of the Renault Group, shares the corporate objectives with respect to environmental protection. For this reason, the Sofasa plant puts in place important efforts in order to reduce the impact of their activity on the environment, in the framework of a responsible and engaged Environmental Management Policy.
The site organizes activities such as nature hikes so that staff and their families can enjoy the landscapes of the region and the variety of wildlife.
