The plant is located in the south-east part of the city of Moscow, near the Moskva River. The nearest housing is located 680 m north-east of the plant.
Students from Universities in Moscow are invited to visit the factory each year in June on the occasion of the World Environment Day.
In 2009 the plant prepared for its extension and started implementing new equipment with a view to doubling production capacity. The site developed two new treatment systems for effluents generated from processes and new areas dedicated to waste management. These projects were deployed in parallel with continuous improvement initiatives applied to existing processes (waste sorting at source and management of effluents from the painting process).
