Designed to accommodate the high torque of the 2.0 dCi engine, the PK4 6-speed manual gearbox:

• is fitted with reinforced bearings and geartrains to transmit torque of 360 N,
• weighs just 54.5 kg with a diecast aluminum casing,
• boasts well designed soundproofing with contoured housings to limit acoustic resonance.

The reverse gear on the PK4 gearbox is synchromeshed. It can therefore be engaged before the vehicle comes to a complete standstill.
