For its 38th edition, the Deauville Film Festival has asked the assistance of a top-end jury. President Sandrine Bonnaire will debate the merits of the films in competition with jury members Sami Bouajila, Clotilde Courau, Philippe Decouflé, Anaïs Demoustier, Christophe Honoré, Joann Sfar, Florent Emilio-Siri, and Alice Taglioni before giving the Grand Prix and the Prix du Jury in the evening of the last day.
The jury selected will choose the winners amongst 15 films in competition, including The We and the I (by Michel Gondry), Wrong (by Quentin Dupieux with Eric Judor), California Solo, Smashed and Robot and Frank (with Franck Langella, Susan Sarandon and Peter Sarsgaard).
As always, there will be prestigious premieres, with many stars on the red carpet.
For the third time, Deauville will celebrate TV series during an event called Deauville Season 3. This focus comes as an addition to the Les Docs de l'Oncle Sam selection, the Nuits Américaines and numerous master classes.
