Renault Latitude presentation at the 2010 Paris Motor Show
Renault Latitude is a well balanced car of generous dimensions (4.89m long, 1.83m wide). The front end conveys an impression of power while the rear is robust and dynamic. Combining presence and elegance, Renault Latitude was developed using techniques of proven reliability and efficiency.
An interior dedicated to passenger comfort
A great deal of thought went into creating a calm, relaxing ambience for a peaceful, focused ride. Drivers have access to an array of original and useful functions (standard or optional depending on trim), including a massaging seat, dual-mode air ionizer and fragrance diffuser.
Renault Latitude delivers a similarly high standard of active safety performance with large durable brakes and ABS/EBD as standard. From the standpoint of passive safety, the cabin has been engineered to provide a protective survival sell for all the occupants if necessary. Renault Latitude ships with up to six adaptive airbags with passenger restraint systems incorporating pretensioners and load limiters. The vehicle also features twin side-impact sensors and dual-chamber side airbags with differing pressure levels for the thorax and pelvis.
Depending on the market, this model takes the name of Renault Safrane (Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, etc.).
Renault Latitude is built at the Busan plant (South Korea), an ISO 14001 certified site.
