Initially presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2004 and restyled in 2008, Renault Modus is a compact vehicle, as easy to handle as a city car and as spacious as an MPV. Modus combines the benefits of a high driving position with a ride that is as reliable in the city as it is on the open road.

Renault Modus features a highly modular interior design, with a generous boot (up to 410 dm3), a sliding rear bench (that can be folded or tumbled forward) and an array of stowage compartments. In terms of safety, it features all Renault’s expertise: crumple zones, ABS, ESP and up to six airbags.

Intended for the European market, Renault Modus is built exclusively at the Valladolid plant (Spain), which is ISO 14001 certified. The dashboard includes 4.5 kg of recycled plastic. Further, the vehicle is designed to be 95% recoverable at end of life.
