Renault Wind

Just open and play

evealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010, Renault Wind aims to provide enjoyment for both the driver and passenger. With its ingenious electric roof, it converts from a coupé into a roadster in just 12 seconds.

A promise of driving thrills

Renault Wind is a sporty, robust car, 3.83m long (between Twingo and Clio). It features a plunging bonnet, high waistline, sculpted sides and fixed roll hoop. The cabin recreates the ambience of a cockpit dedicated to driving thrills and featuring a range of sporting cues, with body-hugging seats and integrated head restraints, and streamlined instrument dials. And with a constant  boot capacity of 270 dm3, you can go on holiday with your luggage and still open the roof whenever you want to.

Renault Wind benefits from the expertise of Renault Sport Technologies. It takes advantage of the Clio II R.S. platform, backing up the two engines available on this model, the TCe 100 and 133 hp 1.6 16v. In terms of safety, Renault Wind ships with ABS, EBA, ESC and airbags. It also has a reinforced body structure.

Renault Wind is built at the Novo Mesto plant (Slovenia), an ISO 14001 certified site.

The Gordini spirit

Depending on the market, Renault Wind may be available in a version proudly bearing the Gordini colours. Shod with 17-inch black diamond-effect alloy wheels, it features Malta blue livery, two white stripes, Glacier White door mirrors, grille trim and rear hump and a gloss black roof. A “G” badge identifies it as a Gordini. Particular attention went into the cabin design of this model.
