Renault Samsung Motors SM7

European prestige

Renault Samsung Motors  launched the new generation model in 2011 (seven years after the first SM7), a car with even more elegant and sophisticated exterior styling.

The front-end grille on SM7 is structured by the original gaze of the car’s adaptive and directional bi-Xenon headlights. The chrome trim and shoulder lines convey a sense of performance and contribute to the perceived quality.

Boasting the most spacious cabin in its segment, SM7 ships with a wide array of features to enhance onboard comfort, including: more head room and wider rear seats, a Bose audio system, a fragrance diffuser and massaging driver’s seat. SM7 is also available with optional AVM (Around View Monitoring) to view the vehicle’s immediate environment.

Two powerful engines available

SM7 ships with two versions of Nissan’s VQ engine. The VQ25 delivers maximum power of 190 hp with maximum torque of 243 Nm at 4,400 rpm. To optimize performance in the most frequent operating ranges and deliver savings, this version uses advanced technologies such as ESM (Energy Smart Management) to control fuel consumption. The VQ35 version develops 258 hp with maximum torque of 330 Nm at 4,400 rpm. This engine claims to be the smoothest and most powerful in its segment. Three levels of trim (SE, RE and LE) are available for each engine in order to meet a full range of user needs and requirements.

SM7 is built at the Busan plant (South Korea), an ISO 14001 certified site.
