Meet the people: Ludovic Loison
We are committed to welcoming and integrating our new recruits and we do everything possible to smoothen out their first months with the Renault group. The induction programme is designed to provide them with a cross-functional overview of the organization and to enable them to realize their full potential at Renault in the long-term. Ludovic Loison looks back at his first months with the group.

Ludovic Loison
French, 25 years old.
Higher professional diploma in industrial maintenance followed by a one-year specialization in hydraulics and automatism.
Maintenance technician.
Personal details: championship-level horseback rider (French and European Championships).
"What drew me to Renault was its highly technical aspect and the possibilities for career development which are available to technicians. I was familiar with Renault, since my parents also work for the company.
I am in charge of paint equipment maintenance at Flins (France), in a team made up of 10 mechanics and electrical mechanics. Our job is to repair breakdowns and improve the functioning of the various machines and automated systems.
I found the induction programme very interesting in that it provided us with a wide-angle view of the company which we do not usually have in everyday circumstances. It enables us to have a global outlook and to better understand the group. The presentations on the Alliance with Nissan, internationalization and the future of Renault taught me a lot.
The seminars are a real change from the rhythm of working in production. They are quite concentrated and you learn a lot. For example, we learned about all the different steps in the making of an automobile, from design through to commercialization. I also found it very interesting to find out how vehicles are sold abroad.
I feel that the induction programme is a very positive way to learn about the huge variety of functions which exist at Renault, and also a way to create ties with people who we wouldn't necessarily meet otherwise."
