"I first came into contact with Renault when I was studying in Brazil. As part of an on-the-job training programme offered by my business school, I worked as an intern in Renault's advertising department during the day, and attended classes in the evening. After discovering French culture at Renault, I became interested in France and came to Paris to take an additional training course. Won over as I was by the company's corporate culture, I automatically chose Renault when the opportunity arose to do another internship.
My second internship for Renault was in marketing and lasted six months. I interned at Renault Parc Entreprises, in charge of selling vehicles to corporate customers and car rental companies. I had a number of different job tasks: I contributed to studies on the corporate market segment, and I also was in charge of updating the website's corporate customer section. This long internship was very enriching on a professional level and made me want to stay on at Renault.
At the end of my internship, I told my mentor that I wished to continue working with the company, and so my file was sent to the hiring department and the recruitment procedure began: interviews with human resources, TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) testing, etc. In February 2003, I was officially hired by the Sales & Marketing department.
Currently, I am in charge of sales forecasting for seven countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, France, Czech Republic and Slovenia). I study the risks and opportunities surrounding the sale of the Renault vehicle ranges in these countries. I also perform specific studies on high-range vehicles. A fascinating approach to forecasting."
