Informing and securing the loyalty of individual shareholders
To secure the loyalty of its shareholders, Renault has introduced tools for permanent communication with its individual shareholders, including a section on its website, a toll-free number with a voicemail service, and a dedicated e-mail address (communication.actionnaires@renault.com).
To maintain closer relations with its shareholders, Renault set up a Shareholders Club in May 1995, open to all those with at least one share. This club has an informative and educational role.
In addition, information meetings on Group strategy are organized in France.

Lastly, the Consultative Committee for Shareholders, created in 1996, plays a role in improving the information provided for shareholders. The Committee is composed of 12 members and meets four times a year. Renault would like to thank the members of the Committee for the quality of their work, especially on the Annual Report, which was voted “Best Annual Report 2006”.
Including shareholders in the success of “Renault Commitment 2009”
When it presented Renault Commitment 2009 in February 2006, Renault underlined its desire to include all of its shareholders in the success of its growth plan, indicating that an increase in dividend payments would be proposed every year to the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting. The dividend will be €4.50 in 2009, for a 250% increase in four years.
