Renault SA is rated by five credit rating agencies (CRAs): 

  • three International CRAs: Moody's, Standard & Poor’s, Fitch
  • two Japanese: R&I et JCR      

In october 2008, in a context of credit crunch, S & P's and Moody's both downgraded Renault SA to BBB/A-3 and A, respectively. R&I affirms its notation to A, but downgrades its outlook to Negative.
