The Team
The four members of the full team were Laurent, Megan, Pierre and Julien (cameraman):
Laurent Granier was behind the Renault Scénic RX4 Raid which took him from Paris to Tokyo over a period of three years. That adventure was followed by a variety of other outings in the company of Megan Son and Philippe Lansac, including a trans-Alaska horse trek and a journey to the Maya World. He passes on his experiences to others in the form of books, documentary films, media articles and exhibitions.
Writer Megan Son is of American-Korean origin and also makes documentary films. She joined up with the Scénic RX4 Raid in Asia and went on to take part in several other expeditions. She has co-authored several books and documentaries in association with Laurent Granier and her articles have been published in magazines across the world. Megan is responsible for writing the stories and reports during the travel.
Pierre Mairé has been a freeflying enthusiast since 1990 and took up aerial photography in 1997 using the simplest form of flying machine – the paramotor – in all seasons. After ten years of aerial snapping, he recently decided to turn professional.
